This year’s headlining performance will be “Messing with a Friend,” featuring Susan Messing and Joe Bill.

There will be three improv shows per night between 7:00 p.m. and Midnight on Friday August 20 and Saturday August 21.

Tickets for each show will be $15 (2-for-1 with a college ID), or you can purchase a GREEN PASS which gives you entry into all 6 performances for $50. 20% discount on tickets with an OKCityCard from Allied Arts.

Friday 7pm Show

Obviously Unrehearsed Improv! (O.U. Improv!) (Norman, OK)
Obviously Unrehearsed Improv! (OUI!) specializes in short-form, long-form, and musical improv. They perform across the state at colleges, festivals, art happenings, and private events entertaining hundreds each year. In addition, OUI! also teaches workshops in conjunction with public schools, library systems, and other academic institutions. The troupe’s core players come from a diverse background and represent a wide variety of academic and professional disciplines. They currently count among their ranks majors and/or graduates in Music Education, Vocal Performance, Studio Art, Film Studies, English, Zoology, Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Dramaturgy and Economics.

Cueless (Stillwater)
Cueless started in the Summer of 2009. Produced by Town and Gown Theatre, Cueless has performed over a dozen shows this past season. Their passion for this newly discovered craft makes for a fun show.

Midnight Society (Austin, TX)
Midnight Society was formed in 2007 as a student team at ColdTowne Theater. Since then, they’ve quickly established themselves as one of the top troupes in Austin’s booming improv scene. As a group, they’ve performed all over the country, including festivals in New York City, North Carolina, and Phoenix. In 2009, they were named Austin’s Best Improv Troupe in the Austin American-Statesman’s A-List poll, and were nominated for a B. Iden Payne Award. Last year, five members of Midnight Society performed at the first IFO as part of the ColdTowne Touring Company. Midnight Society performs every Saturday night at ColdTowne Theater.

The Starter Kit (Austin)
The Starter Kit performed in the 2008 and 2009 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival along with a scheduled performance in 2010’s, and played Waffle Fest 2007 and headlined Waffle Fest 2009 with their Murder! format. In April, 2010, The Starter Kit had our third run of Threefer Thursday shows at Austin’s Hideout Theatre. They celebrated their third anniversary as a troupe at the end of April, 2010, in usual anniversary style of giving water guns to the audience. The Starter Kit is known as a fun troupe, but also pride themselves on the quality of their shows.

Red Letters (Tahlequah)
Bryan and Alyssa bring real relationships to the stage in their two man hilarity. The duo teamed up in 2007 and has performed all over the country including Philadelphia, NYC, Orlando, Chicago, Chapel Hill, Clemson, Gainesville, Nashville and Atlanta. Performing their original form The Punch, the duo explores eccentric characters and honest conversation. Come armed with your most funny suggestion to see a most awesome show.

The Arm (Atlanta)
Andy and Taylor are a kick ass improv duo that formed in late 2009. They work together to create awesome improvised shows throughout the metro Atlanta area. The duo has performed The Arm at the Spontaneous Combustion Improv Festival and has been accepted to Black Box Improv Festival and the Orlando Improv Festival.

Gangs of Recess (Dallas)
Gangs of Recess is a comedy troupe made up of talented improvisers, writers and students of life and long form improv. Collectively they have decades of performance experience across the country, and they come from diverse backgrounds that include radio, music, education, architecture, law enforcement, the Marine Corps and whatever the hell it is that Eric does.

Crayons (Tulsa)
rayons Improv performs family friendly, short form improv. Featuring a revolving cast of cooky characters, each show is new and different. Audience participation is a must and make their shows a fun, memorable experience.

Manick (Dallas)
Manick is Nick Scott and Amanda Austin. Amanda is owner/director/instructor of Dallas Comedy House where she performs with 3 troupes, coaches a student troupe, and is an instructor for the improv and writing program. Nick is a performer/instructor at Dallas Comedy House where he performs with 4 troupes and teaches Level 1 and 2 of the improv program.

Villain: The Musical (OKC)
Villain: The Musical was created by and features Buck and Clint Vrazel, Raychel Winstead, Cristela Carrizales, and actress/musician Stephanie Bidelspach. The improvised Broadway-style musical is inspired by Wicked!, Sondheim's Into the Woods, and Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog and is told from the perspective of the villain, who is chosen by the audience in each performance. Villain: The Musical! debuted Feb 27, 2010 at Ghostlight Theatre Club, and has performed in Dallas at Alternative Comedy Theater at the Pocket Sandwich Theater and at the BOOM! Cabaret and will be featured in Austin's 2010 Out-Of-Bounds Festival.

Improv-Abilities (Kansas City)
Since 2000, Kansas City’s Improv-Abilities (I-A) has performed public and private shows throughout the Midwest, in both short-form and long-form shows. In addition, the group has gotten national attention for its guerilla improv missions, which were featured in a series of television commercials for local TV station KCWE. I-A has been selected to play in the Chicago Improv Festival (2008) and the Del Close Marathon (2010), as well as the festivals in the Twin Cities (2009), Dallas (2005), and Kansas City (2007-2010). The troupe is also the current host of the Kansas City Improv Festival, held in September.

Fun Grip (Dallas)
FUN GRIP is the longform improv duo of Jeff Swearingen and Brad McEntire. Formed in 2006 and based in Dallas, TX, FUN GRIP has performed around the USA - most notably NYC, New Orleans and semi-regular gigs in Austin - as well as in Asia. Brad and Jeff have been performing together in one group or another for years and years. They both have impeccable improv comedy pedigrees, along with healthy doses of experimental and traditional theatre training.

Red Dirt Improv (OKC)
Everybody Loves Red Dirt Improv! Featuring some of the funniest people in Oklahoma, Red Dirt Improv (RDI) has been entertaining audiences around the state and the region for over three years with its unique mix of short form, long form, and musical improv. RDI also hosts Oklahoma's largest improv festival, Improv Festival Oklahoma, bringing in top-tier improv performers from all around the country. They're the Reddest, Dirtiest, Improvinest, Rootinest, Tootinest, Joke-Shootin'-est Improv group around!

FIAD (Dallas)
FIAD began as a house troupe at the Dallas Comedy House in the Deep Ellum district of downtown Dallas. The team of nine has been playing together since January of 2010. FIAD is coached by former Chicago improviser, Cody Dearing.

Everybody and Their Dog (OKC)
Everybody and Their Dog have been performing improv in OKC since 1994 with over 30 different members of the group since that time. Four original members of the group remain – stubbornly continuing with both short and long form games in OKC and statewide.
